ACORN - (Update: November 2010) Sadly, after 40 years of good work, Acorn was forced to file for bankruptcy in November 2010 after sustained right-wing attacks often based on false charges.

Noah's Wish - this group focuses on saving animals during disasters in the US and Canada.
